Aah the season of spring. Reminds me of fresh crisp air of Paris with wafting smell of fresh croissants and sweet lure of colourful macarons.
Being an Indian, I know I am going to get a lot of raised eyebrows saying this, but what the heck.... I LIKE EUROPE MORE THAN INDIA !!!!! Its not an obsession with the foreign land or anything but its the art .. THE ART !!!
Art is so much appreciated abroad than India. Being a graphic designer it saddens me to see people sticking to digital art only.. They have forgotten the art of handmade art. The purity of a brush on beautiful paper with saturated pigments of nature; its not something that a computer can create and that is what is USP of it.
Anyone can download vector from online, create something with few clicks on with their mouse, but when you create something with your hands, its always something unique because that then cannot be duplicated...
People have told me to shift from watercolor medium and start vectorising more if I want to make bread and butter ... But I refuse to.. Not because I want to seem stubborn but I want to make a difference in India's graphic design canvas ... Maybe its taking baby steps, but atleast its going a little bit ahead ...
